When the Democrats came for the bankers,
I remained silent;
I was not a banker.

When they locked up the businessmen,
I remained silent;
I was not a businessman.

When they came for the wealthy,
I did not speak out;
I was not a wealthy.

When they came for the talk radio hosts,
I remained silent;
I wasn't a talk radio host.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.
